Pixel Art

I find something really comforting about pixel art, and trying it out was a really cool way to learn about shading in a completely different way to usual.

This was my first attempt at pixel art, and I used my home-away-from-home of Brighton as a back drop. I love the skeletal West Pier and how it's twinkling against the sunset. The people on the beach are some good pals, to celebrate their moving to Brighton. Note: I don't think you're allowed massive fires on the beach. Let me know though.  

Inspired by my trip to Jordan in 2022 and the awesome desert vistas. The little shadow spots on the bottom right are a herd of camels, but it's a bit tricky to make camels obvious when you have about 4 pixels to use.
